The European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) is seeking a qualified designer or design agency to produce the layout and design of its 2025 Annual Report. The final product will serve both digital and print purposes and must align with EFCSN’s established branding guidelines and visual identity.
Scope of Work
The selected provider will be responsible for:
- Designing and layouting the EFCSN Annual Report in a professional, visually engaging format.
- Delivering a print-ready PDF file.
- Delivering a fully editable PSD or Canva file to allow for minor updates or adaptations.
- Ensuring the design adheres to EFCSN’s branding guidelines and is suitable for print distribution.
- Number of pages will be ~24-28.
Timeline
- Deadline for tender submissions: 10 December 2025
- Decision and notification of selected designer: Week of 16 December 2025
- Advanced draft of content will be provided at this time.
- First design draft due: 15 January 2026
- Final version due: 21 January 2026
Submission Requirements
Applicants are asked to provide:
- A financial quote for the full project.
- Examples of previous work of similar scope (preferably reports, publications, or editorial design projects).
- Optionally, mock-ups or concept proposals based on EFCSN’s branding guidelines (these will be considered a strong asset in the evaluation process).
Selection Criteria
Bids will be evaluated based on:
- Visual and functional quality of past work.
- Alignment with EFCSN’s branding and communication needs.
- Competitiveness and clarity of the financial proposal.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
All content and textual materials for the report will be provided by EFCSN. The selected provider is expected to maintain open communication with the EFCSN team throughout the process.
