The European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) opened a new round of applications on 1 August 2024. After five previous rounds of applications, the network currently consists of 48 verified member organisations from all across Europe.
European fact-checking organisations wishing to join the EFCSN can submit their applications from 1 August, 2024 until 30 September, midnight.
Verified members will be able to display an EFCSN badge on their websites, sending a sign to readers of their independence and integrity, while also gaining access to a network that offers opportunities for collaboration among fact-checkers, training sessions, and working collectively to hold policymakers and online platforms to account in the fight against misinformation.
