The EFCSN’s staff oversees the day-to-day operations of the organisation, moving organisations through our application process, implementing our projects, collaborating with partners, and coordinating the network of verified members, under the guidance of the Governance Body.

Stephan Mündges
Coordinator
Stephan Mündges previously worked as the general manager of the Institute of Journalism at TU Dortmund University, Germany’s leading institute for university-based journalism education. He was also one of the coordinators of the German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory (GADMO) and was one of the hub representatives serving on the EDMO Executive Board. Before transitioning into academia, he worked for 12 years for the German public broadcaster ZDF, focusing on his reporting on digital policy, platform regulation and disinformation campaigns. Stephan has also worked as an external assessor for the IFCN.
Emilie Yueh-Ju Hsu
Communications Manager
Emilie Yueh-Ju Hsu has spent the past decade working in media and communications. She started her career in Taiwan as an investigative journalist and a podcast producer for the Taiwan FactCheck Center and the open media labs. In recent years, she has been working across the tech and science communications sectors in Europe, previously holding the same position at Science Feedback, one of EFCSN’s member organizations.

Jakub Śliż
Project Manager for FactCRICIS / EuroClimateCheck
Jakub Śliż is the founder and president of Pravda, a fact-checking and media literacy organisation from Poland. With a background that spans the public sector and international startups, Jakub has worked as a project manager and data engineer, bringing a wealth of experience to his initiatives in promoting media literacy and factual accuracy while utilising the newest technological tools.
Tori Zopf
Project Manager for Prebunking at Scale
Tori Zopf is the EFCSN’s senior project manager with broad experience in the international tech sector. Previously, she worked at Meta as a program manager of trust & safety operations for Facebook and Instagram. She studied politics and economics, and is interested in digital policy, media/information literacy, and climate action.
Clémence Longley
Policy Officer
Clémence Loneley has over ten years of experience working on security, geopolitics, and countering disinformation in European and international contexts. She previously worked as a Policy Officer at the European External Action Service, contributing to EU efforts to counter disinformation and foreign information manipulation and interference.
Sandro Gigauri
Members & Community Manager.
Sandro Gigauri has extensive professional experience in disinformation analysis, fact-checking, media literacy, and media development. He previously worked as a senior researcher and editor at the Media Development Foundation (MDF) and its fact-checking platform Myth Detector, focusing on monitoring disinformation and propaganda narratives in Georgia and the wider Eastern Partnership region. He also served as a Media Safety and Support Officer with the Georgian Media Program implemented by IREX, supporting media organisations through capacity-building activities. Sandro has teaching experience as an invited lecturer at Ilia State University in Tbilisi.
