We are pleased to announce the recipients of FACTEUR’s Content, Innovation and Expansion Grants, supporting projects that address emerging challenges in Europe’s information ecosystem.
The supported initiatives respond to a shared set of challenges facing fact-checkers across Europe: the need for new tools and formats to counter disinformation at scale, high-impact editorial production and investigations that expose coordinated inauthentic behaviour, and stronger fact-checking capacity in regions and languages that remain underserved.
An amount close to €730,000 will fund 23 projects across the three calls. The selected projects span all three calls, developing technical solutions and prebunking strategies, producing in-depth investigative content, and expanding coverage where independent fact-checking is most needed. Together, all funded projects will generate evidence and capacity that will help safeguard the integrity of Europe’s information space.
