We are pleased to announce the recipients of the Tech Accountability Grants supporting innovative projects that address emerging challenges in Europe’s information ecosystem.
These initiatives respond to a growing need: independent scrutiny of the platforms and AI systems that now shape how Europeans find and share information. The selected projects investigate how online platforms, search engines, AI models, and recommendation systems contribute to the spread of disinformation, assess their compliance with regulatory and self-regulatory frameworks, and generate evidence to strengthen platform accountability and inform future policy.
